In 1999, he acquired Myers Funeral Home in Stockdale. Troy shared his dad's long term vision for providing funeral service. Janet is a full time mom with two children, Trevor and Taylor. Troy still makes his home in La Vernia and is active in community affairs. Troy and Janet moved to La Vernia to manage it. The Finch family's entry into the funeral business dates back to 1951, when Barney Finch was asked to form a burial insurance company in Cuero, Texas.
